Jimin's solo track sets a record for the number of plays

The solo track Promise by BTS member Jimin has become one of the five most popular songs on the online platform SoundCloud.

By 2020, it has gained more than 200 million plays. The record was initially set after the release of the composition in December 2018. Then the South Korean musician managed to get ahead of Canadian rapper Drake and become the best debutant on the music platform.

The rapper's track Duddy freestyle, which was released in May 2018, was listened to 4.9 million times in the first 24 hours, and Jimin's Promise 8.5 million times in the same period. BTS member, rapper RM, and producer Slow Rabbit helped Jimin record the hit.
