South Korean boy band BTS to perform at 2021 Grammy Awards
In addition to BTS, the nominees for the award include Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Black Pumas, DaBaby, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Big Thief and other world-famous performers and newcomers to the scene.
Last year, at the 2020 Grammy Awards, BTS performed a duet with American rapper Lil Nas X, but at the upcoming celebration, the boy band will take to the stage alone to captivate the audience in the hall and in front of TV screens with their creativity. In the near future, the BTS group may receive the coveted statuette in the category of "Best Pop Duo or Group Performance" for their hit "Dynamite".
The Grammy Awards were established in 1958 and since then have annually honored performers for their achievements in the music industry. The statuette in the form of a gramophone is awarded by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences based on the results of a vote by its members: artists, producers, musicians and other people from the field of recording. On March 14, 2021, the 63rd Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which will begin at 8 p.m. local time.
