BTS Takes Two Top Awards at Seoul Music Awards

The 29th Seoul Music Awards ceremony was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 30. Although BTS themselves were unable to attend the event for obvious reasons, the guys won in two nominations at once.

The group's album "Map of the Soul: Persona" received the main prize, daesang, and bonsang (the second most important award). This time, the boy band won the main award at the SMA for the third time in a row.

By the way, this year the organizers of the ceremony decided to divide the main award into 2 categories for the first time: physical album and digital version. The daesang for best digital album was received by singer Taeyeon.
